FREE Webinar with Dr Eliana Henriquez Rodriguez: Updates on the NEW Regulation on Transparency of the EU risk assessment of the food chain: What does it mean for your food & feed approval?
26 March, 4PM CET
As per request of the majority of our audience, we are launching a second edition of the webinar on the NEW Regulation on transparency which will include the updates from the EFSA technical group meeting on database of notification of studies which is taking place on 19-20 February.
The New Regulation on Transparency comes into force in March 2021. It amends the General Food Law Regulation and another eight legislative acts including feed and food additives, food enzymes, flavourings and novel foods. The aim of this Regulation is to ensure a more robust, independent and transparent risk assessment process.
One of the biggest changes is that dossiers submitted to EFSA for risk assessment will be made public after validation. Of course, confidentiality could still be requested, but what if the EU authorities do not find it justifiable?
This webinar will cover the changes affecting food & feed businesses that want to submit a pre-market dossier to EFSA for risk assessment and how can they ensure that their proprietary data as well as confidential information will be protected.
Format of the webinar: 40-45 minutes presentation, followed by 15-20 minutes for questions & answers.
If there is something you would like us to discuss during the presentation please feel free to submit your questions before the webinar using the contact form on the right. Participants will also have the choice to submit questions in real-time on the day.
